Andrew reports of last weekend's Olofson Ridge hike, We had 15 hikers on another beautiful day. New faces and regulars. Our thrill for the day was sharing the trail with runners who were running to the summit and back along Mitchell Canyon. Some once, some twice. That's either a 15 mile run with 3,300' of elevation gain, or twice that.

This Sunday Andrew leads another Sinbad Creek hike, which requires fellow Pleasanton residents for entry. Andrew says of the upcoming Sinbad Creek trail via the Pleasanton Ridgeline trail hike: "We will hike to within 2 miles of the 580/680 interchange, but you will think you are in a forest primeval.". This weekend's hike is also dog friendly. :)
