A two-version, loop hike. The long version is a strenuous, 6.5-mile, 2000-foot elevation gain loop hike to Devils Hole, the lowest point in the park. The shorter version is a moderate, 5-mile loop hike with a 1000-foot elevation gain. Both versions take the Ridge View Trail (along the paved road to where the Comm tower was), continuing on the Rocky Ridge Trail to the Sycamore Trail. The long version descends on the Sycamore Trail to Devils Hole where there will be a short rest/snack stop. Then return up the Devils Hole Trail to the Rocky Ridge Trail, continuing on to the Elderberry Trail for the return to the parking lot. The short version continues past the Sycamore Trail on the Rocky Ridge Trail to the Elderberry Trail for the downhill return to the parking lot. Water and toilets at the parking lot. Dog friendly, off-leash is OK on the trails.
