Event Notes:

This is a 5 to 6 mile loop hike to Briones Crest. All sun. Dog friendly. Kiosk not manned during the week, so it's free. Turn left at the kiosk and park in that lot. Restrooms there. Go through the gate when we enter the Crest. We snack on our decent just past the mid point.

Trail Notes:

Briones' 6,255 acres are home to many animals and birds, which forage on the grasslands or find shelter among the oaks and bays. You may see black-tailed deer, coyotes, squirrels, red-tailed hawks, turkey vultures, and, if you are lucky, other more reclusive creatures. There are gorgeous wildflower displays in season.
