Event Notes:

A moderate, approximately 6-mile, 1100-foot elevation-gain, loop hike to Borges Ranch. An additional 2-mile extension is optional. Route will be via the Ridge Top, Sulfur Creek, Flat Top, Hanna Lane, and Borges Ranch trails to the Ranch. A short rest/snack stop and then return on the Borges Ranch, over-the-hill shortcut, and Ridge Top trails to the Costanoan Trail junction option point. Here the 6-mile hike will continue on the Costanoan and Corral Spring trails to the trailhead. The optional longer hike will return via the Sulfer Creek, Costanoan, Upper Buck Loop, Deer Lake and Corral Spring trails to the trailhead. Water, restroom and picnic tables at Borges Ranch. Dogs welcome, off-leash OK on the trails.

From 680 Northbound exit at Ygnacio Valley Rd. Turn Right heading East. At approximately 1 mile turn right onto Homestead Ave. At first left turn onto Marshall Drive and follow to end of road.

From Ygnacio Valley Road westbound pass John Muir Hospital and turn left onto Homestead Ave. At first left turn onto Marshall Drive. and follow to end of road.
