Event Notes:

This is my inclement weather hike. The trail up to the Comm. tower is paved. The ridge top is dry and rocky. We will hike to the Devil's Hole trail and return the same way. Only 4 miles but at least 1,200 ft. of elevation. Forecast of lightning storms cancels. Dog friendly.

From Highway 680 in Contra Costa County, exit Crow Canyon Road. Drive west for about 1 mile, then turn right (north) onto Bollinger Canyon Road. Continue about 4.5 miles to the trailhead at the end of the road. Park in the paved parking lot.
