Event Notes:

Just the one big hill in King Canyon, then minor ups and downs. The return gate is easy to miss so I will attach something colorful to it. Rancho Laguna is the park where the bobcat was spotted just outside the parking lot.

Trail Notes:

This is a 7 mile hike with one 600 ft hill. Minor ups and downs the rest of the way on mostly fireroads. Total elevation is about 800 ft. It is a moderate hike. Restrooms at Rancho Laguna and Valle Vista.

Trailhead Directions:

From Hwy 24 take Moraga Rd south about 6.5 miles to Camino Pablo. Turn left and go about 2 miles to Rancho Laguna Park on the left. Park near the entrance. Moraga Rd's name changes to Canyon after Moraga Way. About 1/4 mile to Camino Pablo. Big church on the left.
