Event Notes:

A very pleasant hike in the sun to quaint Sunol. We will snack here before returning. Services only at the start. Water and Porta Potty. The elevation gains and losses are not severe.

Trail Notes:

This is an approximate 6 mile hike with about 1,200' of elevation gain. Not steep. All fire road and 100% sun. This is not a difficult hike. About a 3 hour hike. It is dog friendly. 3 restrooms and water at the trail head. Also picnic tables. We will still go to our right at the top of the Ridge, but will soon make a left turn at trail junction 12. We will then head south towards Sunol. This hike will be a partial loop.


Trailhead Directions:

From 680, exit at Bernal and turn towards the Ridge. About 1/2 mile to Foothill Rd (light). Left about 4 miles to the staging area on your right. We will meet near the trail head.
