About a 5-mile, 1000-foot elevation gain hike on the south side of Tilden Park from Inspiration Point. Route will be via the Curran, Meadows Canyon, and Wildcat Gorge trails to Lake Anza. After a short rest/snack stop, continue on the Selby trail past Brazil Bldg and the bridge to the Wildcat Gorge, and Curran trails to the trailhead. Restroom, but no water, at the trailhead. Water and restrooms at Lake Anza. Dogs welcome, off-leash OK on the trails. For directions: http://maps.google.com/ and search for Inspiration Point, Wildcat Canyon Road, Orinda, CA. These Event Notes supersede the Trail Notes.

From Highway 24, take the CAMINO PABLO exit towards JFK UNIV/ORINDA VILLAGE/RICHMOND. Head north on Camino Pablo for approximately 3 miles. At the intersection where Camino Pablo turns into San Pablo Dam Road, turn LEFT onto Wildcat Canyon Road. Inspiration Point will be on your RIGHT side.
