Event Notes:
A moderate, approximately 5-mile loop hike to Borges Ranch with an 800-foot elevation gain. Route will be Ridge Top, Briones Mt Diablo and Borges Ranch trails to the Ranch. A short rest/snack stop and then return on the Briones Mt Diablo and Indian Creek trails to the trailhead. Route is subject to change depending on trail conditions. Water, restroom and picnic tables at Borges Ranch. Dogs welcome, off-leash OK on the trails.

Trail Notes:

Approximately a 6 mile, 3 hour hike with elevation gain of less than 1000 feet. No facilities at trailhead. Water, toilets, shaded picnic tables at Borges Ranch. For map directions, the address of the adjacent Indian Valley School is 580 Marshall Drive.

Trailhead Directions:

From 680 Northbound exit at Ygnacio Valley Rd. Turn Right heading East. At approximately 1 mile turn right onto Homestead Ave. At first left turn onto Marshall Drive and follow to end of road. From Ygnacio Valley Road westbound pass John Muir Hospital and turn left onto Homestead Ave. At first left turn onto Marshall Drive. and follow to end of road.
