Twin Ponds Loop

City: Walnut Creek
Region: EastBay
Park: Shell Ridge Open Space

Sunday, April 10, 2011 @ 9:30 AM

Event Notes:

There will be two hikes from the same staging area; one short and one longer. I will lead a 4 mile loop and Howard will lead a 6+ mile loop. Take your pick. The 4 miler is a good fit for beginner hikers. Howard's is better for our regulars. Both are very doable. Services for both hikes at the mid point. It is dog friendly. You need to park at the very end of Rockspring. It is street parking.

Trail Notes:

This will be a 4+ mile hike. Relatively easy. We will hike to Borges Ranch, and then return a different way. All of us can do this. Mostly sun and NO services until Borges. It is dog friendly and I encourage it. Off leash is OK. It is also kid friendly. I encourage this. 9/10 or older.
