Event Notes:

This SATURDAY hike starts going south from the parking lot to Corral Camp. We then head north and start the Loop trail near the parking lot. This part of the trail is single track. Then it's grasslands the rest of the way. Cold sodas await you back at the parking lot.

Trail Notes:

This is a 3 mile hike with 400 feet of easy elevation gain. It is an easy hike. It is a loop hike and dogs are welcome. There is a lot of poison oak on part of the hike. Rest rooms and water at the parking lot.


Trailhead Directions:

From 580E in Castro Valley,take Crow Canyon Rd north to Bollinger Canyon Rd (winding road). Turn left at the light and go 5.5 miles to the end of the road. Parking lot on the left. From 680S take Crow Canyon west about 2 miles to Bollinger Canyon Rd. Turn right and go 5.5 miles to the parking lot on the left.
