Event Notes:

I have only been to this park once so, this is an exploratory hike of APPX. 4+ miles with an elevation gain of under 900 ft total. This is a very scenic hike with views from the CARQUINEZ BRIDGE to the BENICIA BRIDGE and MNT DIABLO, be sure to bring camera. will do a combined out and back and loop hike. There are primitive facilities at the staging area. Best facilities are at ECKLY PIER where we will have a sort rest break. You will be able to see an unknown volcano (just ask me to show it). We will take a lunch break at the east end of the park with views of BENICIA and portions of PORT COSTA. DOGS are allowed off leash.
