Event Notes:

We are hiking to the Tao house and it is now more friendly to the public. You just show up and explore the house. 6 miles and not difficult. Poison oak along the single track Ringtail. We will not do a loop because nobody liked hiking streets. It's an out and back. No services at the start. The directions should have told you where to exit 680. It's at El Cerro. My infamous blunder that I heard about for months.

Trail Notes:

This is a 6 mile hike (loop) to the Eugene O'Neill Historical Site (Tao House). 750' of elevation gain, which is in the shade. We can't do the house tour, because they are already booked up. We can explore the grounds and snack there. No services at the staging area, but there is at Tao House. We will return via the Iron Horse Trail.
