There is a parking/staging area at the end of the street. Meet by the "dog watering" fountain and sign kiosk at the trailhead entrance. No parking fee that I know of.

Trail Notes:

Dogs are permitted. (Permit required if walking more than 3 dogs or if walking for hire.) This location is home to the famous Mudpuppy's Tub & Scrub AND Sit & Stay Café!

Estimated distance 3 miles into the Richmond Marina and 3 back, figure 2.5 to 3 hours timewise if a break is taken at the Richmond Marina. Bayside the whole way and can get windy. Great views of the City, Angel Island, Brooks Island and the Richmond Marina. A very heavily walked and paved trail.

Trailhead Directions:

From I-80 (the Eastshore Freeway) in Richmond, take Central Avenue west to Point Isabel, adjacent to the U.S. Postal Service Bulk Mail Center.

Parking Fee: $2 per car?
