Briones Reservoir Overlook hike
Briones Reservoir Overlook hike City: Orinda/Lafayette Region: EastBay Park: EBMUD Sunday, July 18, 2010 @ 9:00 AM Event Notes: This is an out and back from the Overlook staging area to the San Pablo Dam trail. We will hike to the boat launching site. Picnic tables and pottys. Lots of shade. We descend a 500 ft hill at the start but have to climb it on our return. A good hike for hot weather. Bring your EBMUD hiking permits if you have one. Distance is 5+ miles and elevation is 500 ft. (LIGHT). Camino Pablo is called Moraga Way south of the BART. Right on Bear Creek about 1+ miles to the Overlook staging area on the left. Easy to miss.
