Event Notes:
A 5-mile loop hike to Borges Ranch via the Foothills, Hazard, Franco Ranch Loop, Twin Ponds Loop and Borges Ranch trails. Then a short rest/snack stop in the shade at Borges Ranch which is equipped with picnic tables, water and restroom. Return will be via the Borges Ranch, Twin Ponds, Stonegate and Foothills trails.

Trail Notes:

An approximate 5-mile loop hike to Borges Ranch and return with about 750 feet of elevation gain. Mostly sun with some shaded areas. A midpoint stop at Borges Ranch which is equipped with covered picnic tables, water and restroom. No facilities at Livornia Staging Area. A hike of moderate difficulty. Dog friendly, off-leash OK on the trails.

Trailhead Directions:

From southbound 680 Fwy, exit at Livorna Rd and go east (left) on Livorna Rd. From northbound 680 Fwy, exit at Livorna Rd and go east (right) on Livorna Rd. Drive for 1.6 miles to the trailhead parking lot on the left.
