Event Notes:

This is a 6 mile hike with 1,000' of elevation gain at Las Trampas in Danville. It is not easy. Trail is a fire road. Could be some mud in two locations, but I doubt it. Hike should take about 2.5 hours. Should be sunny and cool, so dress for it. EBMUD hiking permit holders are very welcome. Directions from 680N or S. Exit at Crow Canyon and go west (where the sun sets) almost 2 miles to Bollinger Canyon Rd (traffic light). Don't miss it or you will end up in Castro Valley. Right turn and about 5.5 miles to the end of the road. Staging area is on the left. Restrooms and water there. This hike will make us hungry, so please join us for lunch at nearby Erik's Deli.
