This will be a 3.5 hour hike rather than 2.5. I can take 4 people beside myself in my car. Please call me beforehand to arrange carpool/pickup from Rockridge BART. Remember that parking at BART is not advised without express written permission. HEAVY RAIN CANCELS hike.

Trail Notes:

Other than the first 15 to 20 minutes, the hike will be fairly flat. Should last 2 1/2 to 3 hours thru the shaded Redwoods.

Trailhead Directions:

From Hwy 580 North, take Hwy 13, exit at Redwood Road. Turn right onto Redwood Road. Or from Walnut Creek, take Hwy 24 West towards Oakland/Berkeley. After the Caldecutt Tunnel, take Hwy 13 South towards Hayward. Exit at Redwood Road. Turn left.

Proceed up the hill and crest over the top of the hill. From the crest it is 5 - 7 minutes to the entrance, which will be on your left side. DO NOT GO INTO THE Entrance. Park right outside the entrance on the side of the road. Meet outside the entrance at the Redwood Park sign.
