Choose a 5 mile, 1,350 foot elevation gain double loop or a 6.7 mile, 1,500 foot elevation gain triple loop hike through Pleasanton's Augustin Bernal Community Park into EBRP's Pleasanton Ridge.
Route will be Longview Drive Road, Longview Trail, Chaparral Trail, left on Valley View Trail, right on Blue Oak Knoll Trail.
Short hike turns around at trail marker #21, returns on Equestrian Trail, Valley View Trail, Toyon Trail, left on Longview Trail and back down Longview Drive Road.
Long hike continues past trail marker #21 up Upper Ridgeline Trail, No Name Trail around the water tower, left back on Ridgeline Trail, biker trail, back onto Ridgeline Trail, stopping at the overlook bench/picnic table to snack/enjoy the view. Return continues north on Ridgeline Trail, sharp left onto fire road, straight onto Ridgeline Trail, at the Y left on Lower Ridgeline Trail back to trail marker #21, then return as described above for the short hike.

Pleasantons Augustin Bernal Community Park provides access to the central portion of Pleasanton Ridge. Access from the main gate on Golden Eagle requires Pleasanton residents to show identification and non residents must present a no fee permit card. HOWEVER, pedestrian access, no permit required, is available from Longview Drive. Please note the signs indicating that parking is limited to the lower south side of Longview Drive.

Use 2306 Gloria Court, Pleasanton for GPS. Drive South on HWY 680, take the Bernal Ave exit, Exit 26, and turn left, west onto Bernal Ave. Turn left, south, on Foothill Road, take the 2nd right onto Longview Drive. Parking is limited to the lower south side of Longview Drive.
