Starting from the Tilden Nature Center Parking lot, near the playground, we head toward Wildcat Peak. The short hike turns left on Conlon Trail, stopping to snack at the bench just off Conlon Trail before the Gate. After the snack we head South on a NoName Trail over to Wildcat Peak Trail, descending on Wildcat Creek Trail to Sylvan, and Jewel Lake Trails. At Jewel Lake, taking a slight right near the Dam to follow Jewel Lake Trail along the boardwalk back to Wildcat Creek Trail past the Nature Center to the Parking Lot.

The longer hike will turn right on Nimitz Way descending on Havey Canyon Trail to Wildcat Creek Trail, then turning left back up Conlon Trail. Passing through the gate at the top of the hill, and turning right to snack at the bench. From there we rejoin the short hike route back to the parking lot.
