April Showers Redwood Regional Hike

Your choice of two hikes in EBRPD Redwood Regional Park,
a Challenging- 6.3 mile, 1500 ft. ele. or
a Challenging 8.6 mile, 2100 ft. ele.

Starting from the Redwood Bowl Parking lot we head over to Roberts Ridge and West Ridge Trails where the two hikes split up.

The short hike will descend on Madrone Trail to French, Chown, Bridle and Stream Trails to take their snack break at Trails End.

The longer hike will descend on Redwood Peak, French, and Tres Sendas Trails before ascending Starflower to Madrone Trail to follow the short hike to the snack break at Trails End.

Both hikes return via Bridle and Orchard Trails, before splitting up once again. The short hike continues up Orchard, turning right on West Ridge Trail to return to the Redwood Bowl Lot.

The long hike follows French Trail to Chown turning left up to West Ridge Trail to return to the Redwood Bowl Lot.

From I-680 N or S take the exit onto CA-24 W/State Route 24 W toward Oakland/Lafayette. After 10.9 miles take the exit toward Hayward/California 13 S and merge onto CA-13 S. Go 3.2 miles and take the Joaquin Miller Rd/Lincoln Ave exit. Turn left onto Monterey Blvd. Take the 1st left onto Joaquin Miller Rd. After 1.2 miles turn left onto Skyline Blvd. Go about 1.3 miles for destination on the right.

From CA-24 E take the California 13 S exit toward Hayward and merge onto CA-13 S. after 2.9 miles take the Joaquin Miller Rd/Lincoln Ave exit. Turn left onto Monterey Blvd. Take the 1st left onto Joaquin Miller Rd. After 1.2 miles turn left onto Skyline Blvd. Go about 1.3 miles for destination on the right.

From I-580 W keep right to continue on CA-13 N/Warren Fwy and follow signs for California 13/Berkeley. After 2.3 miles Take the Joaquin Miller Rd exit. Turn right onto Joaquin Miller Rd. After 1.2 miles turn left onto Skyline Blvd. Go about 1.3 miles for destination on the right.
