We will look for more wildflowers on a sunny day out off Finley Road in Morgan Territory/Mt. Diablo State Parks. Join us at9:30am for your choice of a moderate+ 6.2 mile/1250' shorter hike or a challenging 8.7 mile/1900' long hike. Carpool is highly recommended! Route will be 3/4 mile on paved Finley Road, then up Old Finley Road, right on Sulphur Springs. The hikes split at the first Black Hills junction. The short hike will turn left on Black Hills Trail, then left at the top on Crestview Road. Find a nice spot for a snack overlooking the mountain. Continue on Crestview, left on Amphitheater Trail, straight onto Walnut Trail, left on Old Finley and straight on back to the cars.
The long hike stay on Sulphur Springs, then right for an optional 1/2 mile out and back on No Name Trail. Continue on Sulphur Springs past the second Black Hills junction, then left on Grizzly Trail. Continue straight on Jeremiah Trail to the ridge. Turn left on Highland Ridge Trail and snack near the gate. Continue into Mount Diablo State Park then left on Crestview, right on Amphitheater Trail, straight onto Walnut Trail, left on Old Finley and straight on back to the cars. Please note: This group does not stay together on the hike instead relying on arrows put on the ground with flour to mark turns. You are encouraged to stay with others who are hiking your speed and you should also carry the trail route map either downloaded to your phone or in paper form.

The road changes names to Camino Tassajara, continue for 6 miles. You will enter a very rural area, shortly after you will turn left on Finley Road.
