Hikers choice of either a 6 mile 1,600 foot or a 7.4 mile 1,900 foot elevation gain out-and-back hike in Las Trampas Regional Wilderness starting from Remington Loop Trailhead. Route starts up Remington Loop Trail for 0.7 mile, turns right on No Name Trail #1, left on Highland Drive Road, right down the stairs on No Name Trail #2, Windmill Walk Trail, connector trail up to the ridge, right on Las Trampas Ridge Trail, Del Amigo Trail to the 680/Tao House overlook stopping to snack/rest/enjoy the outstanding views. Short hike retraces back from here on the Del Amigo Trail, Las Trampas Ridge Trail, and down the Remington Loop Trail. Long hike will add a loop after the break continuing on the Del Amigo Trail, left down Sulphur Springs Trail, left on Las Trampas Ridge Trail and down Remington Loop Trail back to the cars. No services on this hike.

Take Hwy 680, exit Sycamore Blvd, head WEST. Cross San Ramon Valley Blvd. Past the 2nd stop sign, this turns into Remington Loop. This is a residential street. Trail head starts opposite 253 Remington Loop (between 252 and 246).
