A 6.2 mile, 1400 ft
or 7.6 mile, 2000 ft

Starting from Inspiration Point we head out Curran, and Seaview Trails toward Vollmer Peak. The shorter hike continues along the ridge to the Paved road around Vollmer Peak.

The longer hike turns right at Arroyo Trail, descending to South Park Dr, turning left onto Vollmer Peak Trail, then left onto Lupine and Vollmer Peak Trails ascending to the paved Vollmer Peak road.

Both hikes follow the paved road clockwise around Vollmer peak down to the picnic area across from the Steam Train Parking lot.

After our snack we will return via Vollmer Peak, South Park Dr, Big Springs, Seaview, and Curran Trails.
