Event Notes:

Paved portion of trail is 4 miles in and back (8 total), however, I will be hiking the dirt portion as well, so this could easily turn into a 12+ mile hike for those adventurous types. :) It will be a HOT day, so if you plan to continue on to the dirt trail with me, be sure to bring PLENTY of water! :)

Then continue on dirt section thru the gate until the end at Pearl Reservoir. Total distance round trip is 14 miles! Terrain is level on Nimitz Way, but there are some steep uphill and downhill grades on the dirt portion.
