Event Notes:

About a 6.5 mile, 1,500 foot elevation gain three loop hike through Pleasantons Augustin Bernal Community Park into EBRPs Pleasanton Ridge. Route will be Longview Drive Road, Longview Trail, Chaparral Trail, Valley View Trail, right on Blue Oak Knoll Trail, Upper Ridgeline Trail, left on No Name Trail #1, left again on No Name Trail #2, right on Sinbad Creek Trail, left on Ridgeline Trail stopping at the overlook bench and picnic table to rest/snack/enjoy the view. Return on Lower Ridgeline Trail, Equestrian Trail, Valley View Trail, Toyon Trail, Longview Trail and Longview Drive Road back to the cars. No facilities on this hike. NOTE THE 9:00 AM START TIME!

Trail Notes:

Pleasantons Augustin Bernal Community Park provides access to the central portion of Pleasanton Ridge. Access from the main gate on Golden Eagle requires Pleasanton residents to show identification and non residents must present a no fee permit card. HOWEVER, pedestrian access, no permit required, is available from Longview Drive. Please note the signs indicating that parking is limited to the lower south side of Longview Drive.

Use 9104 Longview Drive, Pleasanton for GPS. Drive South on HWY 680, take the Bernal Ave. exit, Exit 26, and turn left, west onto Bernal Ave. Turn left, south, on Foothill Road, take the 2nd right onto Longview Drive. Parking is limited to the lower south side of Longview Drive.
