Event Notes:

Leaders Choice Hike

My or your choice hike(s) of moderate+ 7.7 mile, 1100 ft. or challenging 7.4 mile, 1400 ft. in EBRPD Morgan Territory Regional Preserve. Hopefully we'll see snow in the Sierras and very little mud on our feet on a winter hike in the hills.

From the staging area we head out Volvon, Blue Oak, Miwok, Manzanita, Valley View, Volvon and Volvon Loop Trails to stop to snack overlooking Round Valley.

The easier hike returns via Volvon Loop, Volvon, Prairie Falcon, Volvon, and Condor Trails.

The more challenging hike returns via Volvon Loop, Stone Corral, Coyote, and Condor Trails.

Please use this Google Maps to find your way to the Morgan Territory Staging Area.

Leader: Joel Schantz

Trail Notes:

The Volvon Trail approximately 6 miles beautiful views of the back side of Mt Diablo, lots of various terrain. Meet in the parking lot near the entrance.
