Event Notes:

Hikers choice of either a 5.2 mile, 1,200 ft. or 6.7 mile, 2,000 ft. hike into Las Trampas Regional Wilderness. Route will be Rohrer Trail, Clyde Wood Trail, to the Bob Scharf Memorial Picnic Table at Janes Meadow stopping to snack/rest/enjoy the view. Short hike will turn back from here retracing same trails back to the cars. Long hike will continue on Las Trampas to Briones Trail, No Name Trail #1, Madrone Trail, No Name Trail #2, Las Trampas Ridge Trail, down Hunsaker Canyon to the old barn, No Name Trail #3, Clyde Wood Trail, Rohrer Trail back to the parking area. Tennis club bathrooms may NOT be open/available. We will NOT be hiking to Las Trampas Peak, so IGNORE TRAIL NOTES BELOW.

Trailhead address is Colorados Swim & Tennis Club, 3016 Rohrer Drive, Lafayette.

From Walnut Creek take HWY 24 to the Central Lafayette Exit and make the first 2 immediate right turns off of HWY 24. Make right onto Mt. Diablo Blvd. and 1st left onto Moraga Road. Go 0.4 mile on Moraga Road and turn left onto St. Mary's Rd. Go 2.6 miles on St. Mary's Rd. then turn left onto Rohrer Rd. (Rohrer Road is the 4th stop sign on St. Mary's Rd.). Go 0.8 mile on Rohrer Rd. to the parking area for the Colorados Club (Parking for 40+ cars). Rohrer Rd. dead-ends but do NOT go to the upper tennis court parking, do NOT go the very end of Rohrer Rd.

From Oakland HWY 24 take Oak Hill Rd. exit toward Central Lafayette. Turn right onto Oak Hill Rd. and then left onto Mt. Diablo Rd. Then 1st right onto Moraga Rd. and follow above info to the trailhead.
