Event Notes:

A 6.5 mile, 1,000-foot elevation gain loop hike starting at the Tilden Park Visitor Center and Little Farm. Route will be Wildcat Creek Trail, Jewel Lake Boardwalk, Wildcat Creek Trail, Conlon Trail, No Name Crossover Trail, Wildcat Peak Trail stopping to rest/snack at the peak. Return back down Wildcat Peak Trail, Sylvan Trail, Jewel Lake Trail, and Upper Packrat Trail back to the cars. No dogs allowed in Tilden Nature Area. Water/bathrooms at Little Farm and Visitor Center. Meet in front of the visitor center across from the Little Farm.

The Visitor Center at Tilden Park provides information, maps, water, bathrooms and access to several trails including Wildcat Canyon Regional Park.

Tilden Park Visitor Center and Little Farm, use 600 Canon Drive, Berkeley, for GPS.

Take HWY 24 and Exit Fish Ranch Road. Go 1 mile up Fish Ranch Road to the stop sign. Turn right onto Grizzly Peak Blvd. Go 1.4 miles and turn right down S Park Drive. At the bottom of the hill turn left onto Wildcat Canyon Road. In 1 mile veer right onto Central Park Drive and follow it to the very end. Signs for Little Farm and Environmental Education Center will guide you to the end of the road.
