Event Notes:

Las Trampas Ridge Trail

A moderate+ 7.3 mile/1500ft or 8.6/1900ft out-and-back hike along the Las Trampas Ridge Trail into EBRPD Las Trampas.

This hike starts with a quick, heart racing climb on the Fiddleneck Trail where you gain 800 feet elevation in 1 mile. After that we head North on the Las Trampas Ridge Trail to the Del Amigo Trail.

The short hike will turn about at this point as the longer hike proceeds in a counter clockwise direction on Del Amigo and Sulphur Springs Trails rejoining Las Trampas Trail for the return.

Parking is limited at the Elworthy Staging area, so please carpool if you can. When you enter the lot, please attempt to park as efficiently as possible.

Leader: Joel Schantz

Trail Notes:

This staging area provides access to the southern edge of the Las Trampas Ridge Trail via the steep Fiddleneck Trail.
