Event Notes:

We are NOT going to the peak. Rather a moderate 6.5 mile, 1,200-foot elevation gain out-and-back hike from Hemme trailhead (use 560 Hemme Ave., Alamo for GPS). Route will be Ringtail Cat Trail, No Name Trail #1, Madrone Trail, No Name Trail #2, stopping to rest/snack at the picnic bench at south end of Rossmoor's newly named Clyde Wood Trail. Return will be Las Trampas Ridge Trail, Madrone Trail, No Name Trail #3, & Ringtail Cat Trail back to the parking area. No services on this hike. IGNORE THE TRAIL NOTES!

No services at this end of the Park. Bring lots of fluids. This hike is dog friendly.

For GPS, a nearby address is 560 Hemme Ave., Alamo, CA 94507.

From I-680S exit at Stone Valley Rd W in Alamo. Turn right onto Stone Valley Rd. and drive 0.2 miles. Turn left onto Danville Blvd. and drive for 0.7 miles. At traffic light turn right onto Hemme Ave. and drive 0.5 mile to the end of the street.

From I-680N exit at El Cerro Blvd. in Danville toward El Pintado Rd. Turn left onto El Cerro Blvd. Turn right onto Danville Blvd. and drive 1.4 miles to traffic light at Hemme Ave. Turn left onto Hemme Ave. and drive 0.5 mile to the end of the street.

Trailhead is 100 yards past 512 Hemme Avenue, Alamo.
