Event Notes:

Las Trampas Quest-a

Help me celebrate my birthday and join us at 9:30am for a hike through Las Trampas. Your choice of a moderately challenging 6.2 mile/1440' shorter hike or a challenging 8 mile/2300' long hike.

Please download and print out the trail route map here. Route will be Rocky Ridge View Trail, left on Cuesta, left on Rocky Ridge, left on Elderberry to the Corral Camp for a break. Hike continues across Bollinger onto the Bollinger Creek Loop Trail. Hikes diverge at the junction with Chamise. Short hike continues straight on Bollinger Creek Loop on up past the parking lot staying on the right. Turn left after .8 miles to make it a loop back to the parking area.

The long hike turns right on Chamise, then right on Mahogany, rejoining Chamise to the right. Stay straight/slight left on Las Trampas Ridge. Right on Corduroy Hills for a short distance, right on No Name trail to Eagle Peak lookout. Retrace steps back to Las Trampas Ridge, right passing Vail Peak, first left on connector trail to Bollinger Creek Loop. Keep straight to the T then left. Stay to your right on the west side of Bollinger Creek Loop back to the parking area. Dogs allowed, facilities at lot only. Flour arrows will guide your route. Download the route map using the link above!
