This is a difficult hike that will be led by my friendly EBRP Naturalist, Gail. You will like her. I will be watching out for all the hikers. The hike will take up to 6 hours. The return could shorten it.

This is a difficult hike. 10.5 miles and 2,200 feet of elevation gain. Shade to start but then it is all sun. It's similiar to hiking to Juniper Camp from Mitchell Canyon. Be prepared. Potties and water at the start. It's dog friendly, but I would be cautious. Fee for dogs $2. Hiking poles are a plus.
Directions to Trailhead:
TrailHead Parking Fee: $6
Exit 680 (either direction) at Calaveras Rd. From 680S you want to go under the frewway. From 680N you want to exit right. About 4 miles along Calaveras to Geary Rd. Take it into the Park. Watch out for bikers after 680. It is a winding road.
Other Fees: $2 Ohlone permit
