Event Notes:

This hike will take place rain or shine, except for lightning. We will hike the paved trail to the comm. tower and then head south along the ridge top. About 5 miles, but it is not easy. The first mile has 1,000 feet of elevation gain. That's a 20% slope. I rate it moderate plus. Views are awesome. It is dog friendly. Water and restrooms at the staging area. Bring your EBMUD hiking permit. Should take 2+ hours.

Trail Notes:

We will be doing a loop trail that starts out hilly and steep at the beginning and then levels off. Moderate overall.
