A loop hike to Borges Ranch via a new route and trailhead. Approx 5 miles and 750 feet elevation gain. Dog off-leash friendly. Water at trailhead, full facilities at Borges Ranch where we will relax and snack before return.
Contact: HowardFrom 680 South or 24 East exit at Ygnacio Valley Rd and go EAST traveling 0.9 miles to Walnut Blvd. Turn right onto Walnut Blvd. If coming from the East, take Ygnacio Valley Road eastbound and pass Walnut Ave. Continue to Walnut Blvd (past John Muir Hospital) and turn left. After turning onto Walnut Blvd continue for 1.7 miles to Sutherland Dr. Turn left onto Sutherland Dr to the trailhead parking lot at the end of the streest.
