Castle Rock

Castle Rock
City: Walnut Creek
Park: Castle Rock Regional Recreation Area

Friday, July 04, 2008 @ 8:30 AM

Event Notes:

This is a fairly easy hike but still a good work out to prepare for those July 4th BBQs. We will go out and back about 8 miles roundtrip...maybe more if people are game. Bathrooms are about 1/4 mile from the parking lot near the park. We will go through the Castle Rock park and take the trail over the streams up towards the BBQ Terrace Trail. Hike is 50% sun. Because Castle Rock is a very popular park for BBQs, please arrive early to secure parking as it is limited. Carpools are encouraged. We will start hiking at 8:30 sharp!
