Trail Notes:
Dogs are permitted but must be leashed and under voice control at any posted area or parking lot. Dogs may be off-leash in open spaces, provided they are under control at all times. Dogs are NOT permitted in the picnic areas.
Directions to Trailhead:
From Walnut Creek, head east towards Concord on Ygnacio Valley Road. Turn RIGHT onto Oak Grove Road. (From Concord, venture on Ygnacio Valley Road westbound down the hill into Walnut Creek. Turn LEFT onto Oak Grove Road.) OAK GROVE ROAD becomes CASTLE ROCK ROAD at turn-about (at Walnut Avenue). Proceed Straight thru turnabout onto Castle Rock Road. Go past Northgate High School. Continue to the end. Park in the dirt, near entrance to Castle Rock Park.
